Swallowtail

Remember this?

It's my handspun from my friend Elizabeth M's beautiful merino. On the way back from Nova Scotia, it became this:
The Swallowtail Shawl by Evelyn A. Clark.

I blocked it after we had the first Frog Pond Fiber Frolic, but didn't get around to taking pictures until today.

I love the colors! Thanks for gifting me with the leftovers. Have fun at the spinning retreat. I want to hear all about it (and see pics too). Hugs.

Yes, Opal's right!!! Easter eggs! Those little candy coated chocolate ones my parents used to put in my Easter basket.

It's lovely, Jess! Wear it with pride.

Gee, I hate to be just an echo, but -- What they said. It's beautiful. I generally like stronger colors but I love the way that turned out.
